Don’t ban scooters. Redesign streets.

Idea presented in this article of sacrificying car lane for bike, EV, and pedestrian lanes would significantly change the feel of any city. The idea seems more like a day dream than reality. The amount of money this would cost makes the project unreasonable.

To me the overall point of the article is to start moving away from car oriented roadways and increase use of other ways of transport around urban centers. Whether that's scooters, bikes, or walking. The primary choice of transport in an urban area does not need to be a car.
