Hello. I have a Macwheel MX 3 with a crapped out 36V battery pack (which includes an quasi-integrated circuit card battery management system. It has the typical charge and discharge cables and an additional pair that I have deduced is for a serial interface to the brushless motor controller. I have no idea what purpose it serves. My question is, can I safely use a battery pack without the serial interface? I've tried multiple searches for the exact battery replacement with no success, unless I want 10. Suggestions?
