I legally purchased a fleet of c80 scooters from auction they are all brand new never ridden spin company rideshare Segway c80s and I wanted to see how to convert them into personal scooters. To give you background on me I'm a 10 yr electric scooter mechanic and open to learn anything don't already know so feel free.to get technical. I know they have a sim card and I'm wondering if I reach out to ninebot and get a sim card will it work just like that or will there be more required.please help and yes they will be for sale once they have been hacked located in San Jose, california

Following from San Francisco.
I believe I picked up the same new SPIN scooters from the same auction, located in Salinas Calif. The Spin scooters are new with a square head, bottom label indicates Mdl#S1 battery B1.
Full on noob and looking to convert….I’m assuming it’s going to be a slow process but open to learning more. Thanks!

I think yours are the in house ones spin developed and never really put out on the streets. Can you post some more pics of it, hard to say for sure with just that pic... Specs label, model label?

Thanks Ilikescooters! The manual helps. I was able to conclude it’s the s-100t, or from the online photos and reports.
I’ve been able to charge and ride it but not sure how to open the battery deck?
Would also like to eventually hack to go faster
Eventually going to paint or vinyl wrap.

If anyone has any tips or tricks would appreciate it!

I don't think much work has been done on those models since I'm not even sure they've hit the streets before let alone auction, surprised they work haha

You just plugged them into charge and they rode just fine or how do you unlock them?

Rrpa502, Since you are in the SF Area, maybe we can meet sometime, too bad I missed an auction with multiple scooters with seated scoots, and even their mopeds from West Auctions.

It's fine, I got one S100T with no battery still on the works, and hopefully get it going, along with my other scoots.
