Continuing from another post…I bought three new SPIN scooters model s-100t (thanks for the help from this group) all legally from an auction.
Had some help from one of the auction guys, very helpful.

I’m able to charge and ride them.
What I know:
Battery pack has custom connections, with a quick release for charging but can’t find any replacements or similar on eBay.
I can also charge the scooter by the plug port on the column.
To ride it’s as simple as folding up the kick-stand, holding the brake 10 seconds and push forward, then the 0 mph displays.
Front light and rear lights work.
Battery stays charged for approximately 3 days.

Not sure…
It stays powered all the time. The display is off but the surrounding light stays on, and the rear brake light. Will this burn out the battery?
When I use the column plug it will display the battery % but not when parked or riding.
Actually nothing else displays except for the MPH.

Would like to eventually hack the speed limiter.

Also go easy on me…still new to the posting😂

Any suggestions or advice would be great!

I don't know how you managed to "obtain" but it's great that you got some to use, Look, on my end mines doesn't have ANY battery, (therefore I will be using Lime's 36v battery) (Forgot to test the other one), and I don't know how yours work, maybe it is completely deprovisioned. In my opinion if it just works don't convert anything and just use it as is.

In my case, I am doing so because mine clearly comes without any battery, and even if it did later, I already modified the thing to the point where it would be impractical to fix it.

I was able to access battery deck using manual bypass. I don't know how to use their built in charging port, Can't find that online, I would rather use the standard 36v port instead.

Also I would put 3-5mph speed limits on the scoot due to "previous experiences" with another seated scoot.

I think you can turn off the scoot by holding the brake or something, for 10 sec and push? Or just manually disconnect batt and reconnect.

He says it in the post he bought it from an auction, and for once I think this ones legit considering the discussion in other threads about the spin auction in california

Hmm, I am within the San Francisco Area, so the auction may have been in the Salinas Area past San Jose, but those are nice scoots out of the box to be honest. Found the post, https://www.scootertalk.org/forum/viewt ... ion#p58091.
I only have 1 no battery, so Yes, I am using the manual method of just install the required components, and get it to work, maybe with my own IOT installed.

Thanks!
We should meet up someday since we're in SF area, but anyways It's a Lime S 4.0 or 4.1 36V small battery (needs a custom connector) *Note: Scoot is modded to use any type of battery - won't work on S100T Firmware.

By the way what charger can I use for my S100T, so I know, I can't find it online. (My setup tho is universal charge upon open battery cover).

I converted the S100T and it runs well, 12mph 350w controller.
It is very hard to convert the entire thing, It runs on 36v lime gen4 battery that fits.
I will check the lime 3 battery and see if that fits into the thing for more range.
