So trying to figure out where to add additional batteries on a M365 I had the idea to use a external battery pack off a ES4. To do this I needed to open the ES pack, cut the BMS out, mount an additional LED headlight on the bottom portion, install a switch for the light and wire everything up to the scooter.
To mount the pack I drilled and tapped larger screws for the mounting bracket to attach to the down tube.
It’s a rather tedious project but it looks better than a few other batteries I have mounted on my scooters. Plus the added headlight is really nice and very bright.
Here are a few pictures of it almost complete.
