Hello everyone, I'm new to scooter talk. I'm trying to build my dual motor scooter but need some help. Is there a way to wire up a bird one motor, controller and battery to m365 ? And if so how? I already got the one motor to work on m365 with stock m365 components but curious if I would get sightly better torque or speed if I use a bird one controller.

Also with the one motor and stock m365, the motor spins when I hit the brake lever and stops when I hit the gas. Should I cut and swap the plugs for brake lever and throttle or should I just cut the single wire (not red or black) and swap them?

Thank you guys, I greatly appreciate your help getting one step further!

there is a lot of thing that you have to be aware but i count the magnets by disassemble the motor i will post a picture and yes you can put the dc stepdown in the handlebar thats where i put mine you just peel the wires from the display a little bit enough to get power from the two lamp wires to connect the dc stepdown module that way you dont have to run cables all the way thru the neck
Have you gotten around to being able to show the stepdown installation and wire connections to have the light working again like normal?

Whoa I misread, you got it working on stock m365 components? What's the top speed? Odds are a Bird One controller will def improve performance you'll get more with the stock 350w controller vs the m365's 250w. I'd swap the plugs for the throttle and brake and see if it works the right way then?

Would love to get the stock Bird One controller cracked!

Had some issues with the 500W - I ordered one with 3-speed control, cruising etc. They sent me the simplest one, without any of the options I need. I may disassemble the controller box and try to solder some wires for the other functions. (If I have'em on board).
Hope to have time later today.
Cheers
Ever get the basic functions working with the 500w? Next buy will be a 500w controller for it, I know there's more speed to be had! I imagine it helps with torque too?
Good luck and let us know!

Sam, you are great! I have watched all your videos and the last one, which is the full convertion and shows everything is just the bomb.
I'm going to follow your steps and make this convertion myself.
The only thing i want to ask you at the moment is, if these two : the module and the stepdown are the same as you used, because i have to buy them from aliexpress, because the guys from the links you gave dont ship to my coutry.

Cool stuff Sam. Question - what bit are you using for the front neck removal, the one between the 3 torx? Is it a tri wing? Mine doesn’t fit.

Hello, does anyone tried to just put a M365 dashboard into the Bird One, without change the controller near the battery ?
Or is it mandatory to change this controller?

How are you able to fit the LCD next to the center housing? There doesn't seem to be enough room to the left
