Hi all,
I have recently purchased from flebay a lime auction scooter. After reading here dumped the whole content of the front box and then all in the column.
Purchased this controller from china, as it is pretty small an by the dimensions it could be fitted into the pillar.
While waiting for the shipment to arrive, i have gutted the scooter more:
First cut a 93mm long sraight to the back of the pillar.
Then from the front ot the pillar, trought the hole where the cables go to the box i drilled holes in a line at the end of the cuts, then witha screwdriver i broke it out.
To accomodate the new controller further changes were needed:
More pic of how:
First “dry test” of how the controller fits in:
Looks very promising, in the meantime i was doing the paintwork on the chassis, when drying thinktanked over the parts.
Decided to save more space i opened the box and unsoldered all the not needed wires, and made some changes, there is no need of 36 to 5v stepdown because the box already has 5v section, re-wired the lamp here:
It was tine to manage the box and the cables connected in the column and in the handlebar. Sad news i had to do more guttering:
And removed the lamp’s cross holder bar:
Outcome:
Well not yet finished, still more paintjobs and stickers coming on.
