Hello all. I'm looking to convert an Uberscoot (Mototec, etc.) 48v 1600w scooter to lithium ion battery power. I see lots of posts online from people who say that they are going to do it, but there are few specifics about parts/brands used or how the scooters performed after the conversion. I'd llike to go with something like a 48v 50a 35ah battery.

I have a few questions:
1) Are there any complete after-market conversion kits available?
2) Will I need to change the original controller?
3) Do you have specific parts (manufacturer and model number) that you would suggest?
