I have access to so many of these damn scooters laying around. Many of them destroyed, many with just the batteries missing, people just don’t care about them and they are literally all over the place either destroyed, working, or somewhere in between. I have collected a bunch that have been abandoned and are in pretty rough shape but together I definitely have a working scooter or two.. . I’d really like to fix one up for my use but so far I just can’t figure out if I have to replace the motor controller or what?….I see people riding around with clearly modified versions, but I just can’t figure out what has been done to them. It doesn’t look like motor controllers have been installed unless they are small enough to where they fit inside with the battery. If I have to replace the BMS and hall sensors could someone please help me out with details including links.. or just the main post where this stuff has been described. Any help would be much appreciated. I have plenty of experience with the older limes, bird ninebot es4, and others…. But I am super frustrated when it comes to this scooter. is there a better option when it comes to getting these or a different brand or version to work? Please and thank you!
So is removing battery replacing BMS and hall sensors all that you have to do?..Jevako030 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 8:25 pmHi Hi,Jnsystems wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 7:28 pmI have not seen a clear path to get it to open, however I don't know how others managed to get it open without any damage, it looks like they attack it from the top, but sometimes people can just find the juice boxes wide open, literally just grab and go. That is my method and I already have so many to test and ride with. Now it's just me figuring out how to install the BMS properly and wire everything up.Richie2502 wrote:Is there a clear path to a shim the battery latch open on these or is it shielded ?
everything you want to know has already been found out and is all described in the other Lime forum.
Remove battery, replace BMS, Hall sensors.
Everything is described in detail there. So if you read it first, you will know everything and you will have answers to all your questions. That guy with that Youtube channel just does something and says things that are not true at all.
