After riding my Unagi scooter for a month I stumbled on a trick to go faster that the speed limit of 15.5 mph. This only works down hill and prevents the speed limiter from kicking in.

Take your thumb off the throttle when going downhill.

This was obvious after I figured it out but before then I kept the throttle pressed all the time when riding. When you release the throttle the scooter will coast (acts like its in neutral) up to 17 mph. This is only 1.5 mph above the scooter's speed limit of 15.5 mph but every bit helps. :D

I have The Model One - E450 Dual Motor and I'm sure it works on The Model One - E250 Single Motor as well.
