Yes I have bought 4 piceces dashboard + controller from AliExpress, dashboard works great and was on low firmware with top speed 32km/h. Just be careful with those cheap controllers, 5 min ride using ebrake downhill fried the brand new controller, dashboard did survive and works fine with a new controller.

It may, but these often times don't work with bluetooth so you'll not be able to use the LEDs if you have those.
