:Hello guys,
I found an es4 thrown next to a lake (probably sinned by a fisherman), it's a jump. I logged in on the app to see if it was on the map but no signal so I decided to take it given the miserable condition.
I go home, I clean it as best I can, dry it and then decide to disassemble it to see what I can do ...
The scooter :
After the quick wash and dissasembled :
As you can see the controller is a mess, rust ect...
After that, I decide to open the external battery to see if it's really dead, a lot of water has flowed. I removed the screws and then using 2 flat screwdrivers I opened slowly. It's really not easy (10 to 15min). I observe that the battery is very well protected and dry, it is covered with silicone / rubber.
I observed that both cables from the battery port have been detached
I strip and tie the wires to try to charge the battery but before I measure the voltage (I mesured and I pressed hold before taking the picture). Can we consider her as a survivor or dead ?
After connecting the wires between them I put it to charge ... nothing happens
Apart from keeping it for spare parts, I need:
- A controller
- Internal battery
- Dashboard ?
I await your remarks and your advices.
Take care guys
