Discuss the Segway Ninebot ES and Ninebot Max Kick Scooter in this Forum. Topics include the Segway-Ninebot app, hardware, street riding, etc.
I have searched far and wide and have not found a conclusive answer on if its possible to flash a Lyft Ninebot Max controller to work as a consumer model. It seems the spin scooters are easy enough but the Lyft are just hell to work with (different wiring, different firmware, etc). I have the controller hooked up to my ST-Link with power coming from the battery and it just doesnt connect. I read somewhere that Lyft has the programming interface locked but im not sure how true this is.

Mine has a 5v and a 3.3v line on it, All the ones I’ve seen do to?

Use the normal tutorial, connect your battery and also connect your 5v power from the ST-Link here instead of the yellow wire:

The ST-Link it's not 5v is 3v
