I am repairing my daughters old Razor scooter and it has a 24v contoller for the 100w motor it came with.
As the batteries are dead I am looking to overvault the motor from 24v to 36v (drop amp from 5 to 3.5) and I believe that the controller will need to be switched out. The challenge I have is that all 36v controllers seem to be designed for much larger amp/watt batteries/motors.

Will any 36v controller work on this project or do I explicity need to find a low wattage/ low amp 36v controller?
